Patient Registration

Follow these steps to become a registered patient.

Mass Wellspring Acton is only able to serve patients and caregivers who are actively registered with the Cannabis Control Commission.  To become a registered patient, follow these steps:

  1. Obtain a recommendation from a qualifying licensed physician. There are several certifying physicians in the Boston/Metrowest area.
  2. Register with the Cannabis Control Commission. You will need the following: valid photo ID, proof of residency, and a current photograph of yourself.
  3. When you complete the registration process, you will be prompted to “print your temporary access ID.” This temporary access ID will allow you to visit Mass Wellspring Acton the same day and purchase up to a 14-day supply of cannabis (up to 2.5 ounces).
  4. After your registration is processed, you can expect to receive your medical marijuana card in the mail in 2-4 weeks.
